seaholm power plant
i met with ken atles, member of "friends of seaholm plant," back in 97 while i was still webmaster at the city. he let erik and i tour the facility and take some snapshots. this 1950's deco power plant was retired from use in 1987. perhaps some day it will become an art facility.
an article from the austin chronicle calls the plant "the grand dame." i think of it more as a cathedral.
